January brings meaningful improvements that make Tracklution more flexible, more reliable, and easier to use in your tracking setups. These updates focus on how you build, scale, and trust your tracking, especially when journeys get complex.
We continued improving the Tracklution Google Tag Manager template to make setup faster and clearer, and this time we are highlighting something special.
Simo Ahava has published a full walkthrough video showing how to use the improved Tracklution GTM template in real world setups. Simo is one of the most respected voices in the analytics and GTM community, and the video shows how the template works, how to configure it correctly, and how to avoid common implementation mistakes.
If you are using the Tracklution GTM template or planning to, this video is the best place to start. Make sure you are using the latest version of the template from the GTM Gallery to follow along.

We have improved how Tracklution recognizes returning visitors when users move between in app browsers and standard browsers.
This matters especially on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where users often start their journey inside an in-app browser and continue later in their default browser. These transitions can break continuity and make attribution harder than it should be.
Our updated matching logic is designed to handle these real world journeys more reliably, improving session continuity and attribution accuracy while keeping matching rules strict and privacy conscious.
The Custom Connector just became much more powerful.
You can now create multiple Custom Connectors in a single container and send the same event data to as many destinations as you need. This unlocks cleaner integrations with affiliate platforms, internal systems, CRMs, and parallel testing setups without hacks or duplication.
Each Custom Connector stays fully configurable, with support for dynamic values, headers, Test Mode, Click ID Matching, and detailed request logs. It is a big step forward for anyone building advanced outbound tracking.
Not a new feature, but an important and widely used one. Tracklution’s fallback parameters help preserve attribution since Safari started stripping click IDs. See how it works here and protect your conversion data.
These updates are all about making Tracklution feel solid in everyday use. Cleaner setups, better scaling, and more reliable matching mean less time debugging and more confidence in your data.
As always, happy tracking.
Tracklution’s server-side tracking improves the conversion data your ad algorithms learn from. That means better optimization, lower CAC, and more sales. Tracklution installs in minutes and is trusted by leading brands like Santander, WPP, Luxid Group and The Platform Group.
