Hello Tracklutionaries,
We've been working tirelessly to make Tracklution the go-to tracking solution for digital advertisers, and today, we're thrilled to share some exciting updates that have been highly requested by our community. So, without further ado, let's dive into the details!
By popular demand, we've added two powerful connectors to our arsenal: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Snapchat. These additions mean you can now seamlessly forward your tracking data server-side to both platforms, directly through Tracklution and with a single tracking installation. Setting these new Connectors up in Tracklution is super easy, as always!
As Google Ads is the most important advertising channel for many Tracklution users, we're giving the Connector all the love it deserves. The Google Ads Connector has recently received a significant upgrade with multiple updates and optimizations to make it better. After rigorous testing with various clients, we're seeing an impressive increase in conversion levels by 5-25% compared to traditional web tracking methods.
How does it work? Tracklution now generates two types of conversion lists for a single conversion action:
This differentiation allows advertisers to have more transparency in attribution of their conversions between click conversions and view-through/engagement conversions, offering a clearer picture of campaign performance. Both Conversion Action lists should be set as 'Primary' for most benefits. Typically, click-conversions account for ~90-95% of total conversions, with the remaining ~5-10% coming from view or engaged conversions.
We'll automatically upgrade all existing clients to this new and improved Google Ads Connector version.
In response to evolving privacy regulations, Google introduced Consent Mode v2, a framework designed to help advertisers run campaigns in compliance with consent laws, particularly in the European Economic Area (EEA), where it becomes mandatory from March 2024.
Tracklution now supports Consent Mode v2 for both Google Ads and Google Analytics 4. By default, we apply "Basic Consent Mode," so Tracklution tags should be loaded after receiving cookie consent. For those needing more flexibility, "Advanced Consent Mode" is now also available, allowing limited data collection for analytics purposes.
